Oracle sets up shop in China

Software giant targets mobile commerce

Oracle will in May open a software development centre in Southern China.

Situated just across the border from Hong Kong, the city of Shenzhen is fast becoming a favourite of technology companies.

China is one of the world's largest mobile phone markets. Oracle will employ 100 people to target the mobile commerce and banking industries in China.
