
A round-up of cancelled events...

After last week's devastating events in the US, a number of industry conferences have been cancelled. Below is a list of some of the main industry events that have been officially cancelled so far.
PASS 2001, hosted by Microsoft and PASS for SQL Server professionals, has been postponed. The conference was scheduled for 19 to 22 September in Orlando.
Rambus developer forum, which was scheduled for 20 and 21 September in Santa Clara, was postponed indefinitely.
CommVerge Expo which was also scheduled for Santa Clara 19 to 21 September was postponed.
Macromedia Web World conference in San Francisco next week, also postponed its conference until a later date. The company has also delayed its joint announcement with Microsoft, which was to be made at the show. The announcement has been rescheduled for the week of 24 September, the company said.
Forresters' Making Money with the Web, scheduled for 23 to 25 September in New York, has been postponed.
Forresters' Marketing Forum, which was scheduled to take place near New York's Times Square, 23 to 25 September has been re-scheduled. Date to be announced.
The Global Trends in Technology Development investment symposium scheduled for 25 September at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. has been postponed. A new date for the symposium has not been announced.
Network World: Buzz 2001: Emerging Technologies for Your Network" event, scheduled for 24 September at the Grand Hyatt in New York, will be held 1 November at the same location.
Wireless World 2001 was set for 24 and 25 September at the World Trade Center, which was destroyed by Tuesday's attacks. Organizers have postponed the show and are seeking a new venue.
The Wall Street Technology Association has rescheduled its 2 October event, "The Market Data Challenge," to 13 November, the place is to be announced.
