Nokia shares fell to their lowest point for more than two years after market share figures showed the Finnish giant slipping back in the battle for control of the mobile technology market.
The company's stock dropped nearly three per cent to E17.94 after Gartner Dataquest issued figures which put the firm's market share down 0.5 per cent to 34.8 per cent. By contrast, arch-rivals Ericsson and Motorola both increased their market share figures.
Nokia has stated in the past that is targeting 40 per cent market share.
