RIM gets judge's approval

BlackBerry maker gets off on battery charge...

A US District Court judge has ruled in favour of Research in Motion in its patent infringement suit with Glenayre Technologies.

The judge found that RIM, maker of the BlackBerry email pager, had not infringed a Glenayre patent on battery technology.
