Market analysts and investors alike are closely monitoring the climbing share price of AT&T Wireless following the company's record IPO this week.
Nearly 57 million shares in the telecoms giant changed hands within an hour of opening at $29.50, setting the total capital raised at $10.62bn - almost twice the amount raised by United Parcel Services last year.
The AT&T Wireless IPO comes at a time when markets have been unsettled and a number of high profile offerings have been postponed.
At the close of trade yesterday the share price was $31.81
