Silicon.com unveils Agenda Setters 2000 microsite

Silicon.com's Agenda Setters 2000 microsite went live on 15 March and offers a Top 50 list of movers and shakers in the high-tech sector (see http://www.silicon.com/agendasetters2000 ).

A panel of esteemed IT experts - including Martin O'Neill, Labour MP, and Rene Carayol, former IT director and MD of IPC Electric, gathered to compile the list of individuals who they think will shape the future of the IT industry.

The Agenda Setters 2000 microsite offers valuable insight into the shape of things to come with some surprise entries in the top ten, flagging up people not necessarily based in the IT industry.

Richard Branson and Rupert Murdoch both hold top-ten positions reflecting the growing importance of content gurus in the sector.
