Toshiba has reduced the cost of two of its entry level notebooks to below £1000.
The Satellite 300CDS comes with a 166MHz Pentium processor and 2GB hard disk capacity. The notebook also offers a built-in floppy disk drive and a 16-speed CD ROM drive as standard.
The Libretto 70CT with 120MHz Pentium Processor, 1.6MB hard disk drive and 16MB RAM is available for £995. It also offers infrared data transfer capabilities and a mini CardStation for connecting to the desktop.
