Digi International is to buy Central Data Corporation for $18m (£11.2m). The remote access provider has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the manufacturer of serial port solutions for local and remote access connectivity.
Under the terms, Digi will give Central Data 220,000 shares of ordinary stock, worth approximately $4.5m (£2.8m), and $13.5m (£8.4m) in cash will be exchanged for the outstanding shares in Central Data.
