Customers of Czech telco, RadioMobile, will be able to make calls from their handsets using Internet telephony technology.
Users will be able to make calls to 24 countries in Europe and overseas. RadioMobile claimed tariffs will be up to 50 per cent lower than those of the local network operator, SPT Telecom.
However, RadioMobile admitted the lines will be of lower quality and said the tariffs are still not as low as those offered by callback operators.
