The five-year deal will cover 800 sites across six countries and, using DSL technology, will allow Specsavers to increase the bandwidth and capacity of its network.
As the network will be managed by one company, the deal is also expected to generate cost savings due to increased efficiencies.
The way in which the different stores will be networked gives Specsavers the ability to scale the network up as the company expands.
Vanco's Active Negotiation Process - where Vanco reviews the underlying carrier costs for customers annually - means the optician will be able to continue to cut tech costs but also keep up with the latest developments.
Ruskin Snow, IT operations manager at Specsavers, said the deal will lead to ongoing benefits for the optician and give freedom to continue evolving.
