
Telco to supply south coast utility

Southern Water has awarded a three-year, multimillion-pound deal for managed telecoms services to Thus.
The Scottish telco will manage wide and local area networks, voice services, telemetry and video conferencing for the utility after beating off rivals in a tender process.
Southern Water serves around a million households in the south-east of England and is on a drive to streamline its business processes.
Thus is now working on a strategic roadmap for Southern Water and is likely to seek to extend the contract for a further two years.
