
Sales up, spirits raised...

UK IT services specialist Anite has reported strong year-end results on increased sales, reflecting a number of purchases made by the group over the past 12 months.
The firm, which works primarily in the travel, government and telecoms sectors, reported revenues of £199m, up 29 per cent, and profit before tax up 42 per cent to £28.3m.
Ignoring the new businesses Anite bought over the period, growth in both revenues and profit was 11 per cent.
The firm performed particularly strongly in the travel and public sectors, winning a number of local government contracts.
