ITV Digital - dead man walking?

Just days left?

By Tony Hallett

ITV Digital could be wound up by the end of the week unless a potential white knight emerges soon.

According to reports, administrators Deloitte & Touche have started on a contingency plan for what would need to be done if funds run out over the next few days.

The Football League is still fighting plans by the terrestrial digital broadcaster to renegotiate its £315m contract for football rights.

However, this morning's FT cites a source at rival BSkyB saying the satellite broadcaster will nit bid for any ITV Digital assets. It was thought to be the company most likely to step in.
