Stephen Grabiner, the founder of On Digital, is considering a rescue bid for ITV Digital in his guise as venture capitalist at Apax Partners.
Along with his elder brother, also an Apax director, Grabiner could form a consortium to bid for the ailing digital TV company should it go into receivership according to the Financial Times.
ITV Digital is currently in administration following its failure to pay £179m in TV rights to the English Football League.
