BT DSL network still fails to do the job
silicon.com readers still not happy...

BT's IP backbone network is up and running after yesterday's massive outage which brought the nation's DSL network to its knees.
A BT spokesman said that the network had been stable since 18:40 yesterday. A silicon.com reporter also managed to make a successful ADSL connection this morning.
But silicon.com readers have still been writing in to report access problems. A BT spokesman suggested that these were probably not linked to the outage on BT's Colossus IP backbone network.
