I'd like to meet the head of OfCom for a drink... and give him a wine-glass full of beer in a pint mug.
When he complains, I'd point out that it "is up to" a pint of beer, so he shouldn't moan....

It is about time broadband was delivered the way gas, electricity and water are - by metering actual usage, not theoretical maximum capacity.

I don't get get charged for 60amps of electricity 24 hours a day when I don't use it, so why do I get charged for 3.6Mbs when they clearly (as shown by their own app) don't allow anything like that throughput?
