BT: What a bargain!
Yesterday, NTL again wrote offering digital TV at 5.50 Pounds / month with free box & free installation, on a 12 month contract.
(Although their original offer, before they "went bust" was Digital TV, Internet & Phone for 10 Pounds / month: That price soon tripled.)
The latest "scan" by my Freeview box found 92 TV & radio channels: 29.95 Pounds for the box; no subscription; no-one logging what I watch & selling that data to advertisers etc.!
Personally, I'd be much happier with just a couple of high quality channels showing mostly UK produced content.
