Its a promissing technology and may be a better option for various communication needs. WiMax has still issues related to standardization, recommendation and equipment costs but as these get stabilized we may find it as a threat for few of existing technologies. Roaming in wi-fi was a danger sign for conventional operators but what about WiMax, it may thrash down every orthodox assumptions
