English football is making the leap to broadband, with help from UK internet service provider Nildram.
Nildram announced this week that it has landed a deal to supply the Football Association with The agreement means that Nildram will be supplying broadband and flat rate services to the homes of FA officials, as well as wiring up the FA's headquarters.
"The FA has a large number of what in effect are remote users - our broadband and FRIACO services provide the ideal platform to the FA for this as part of their organisation-wide virtual private network," Iain Ogilvie, Nildram's marketing manager, said.
Ogilvie also insisted that the choice of Nildram proves that the companies who are planning to upgrade to broadband should consider using the services of smaller ISPs.
