MSN restructures for AOL showdown

Secret email leaked...

Microsoft is making a management reshuffle to strengthen its MSN group as it aligns itself for direct competition with AOL.

All MSN activities, which includes the new .NET My Services and Hotmail will now be consolidated under the two executives, according to an internal email seen by the Wall Street Journal.

Senior VP David Cole will now report directly to Steve Ballmer.
