Freeserve takes lottery tickets online

Freeserve has announced an exclusive partnership with newly reaffirmed National Lottery operator Camelot to facilitate the sale of lottery tickets online.

Nicholas Backhouse, CFO of Freeserve, said in a statement: "This deal further demonstrates Freeserve's ability to provide well-known brands with distribution to the UK's largest online community, and for the two million active registered users of Freeserve adds yet more compelling functionality."

The deal comes as welcome news for the French-owned ISP, which reported widening losses this week.
