Scottish construction company, the Robertson Group, is to roll-out a voice and data network linking four offices based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness and Perth.
Cabletron is supplying the system, which will give the company the ability to move to voice-over-IP by upgrading its LAN and installing a WAN.
The system includes two SmartSwitch routers, the 2000s and 6000s, which will support all internal applications, including email and Internet/intranet systems. It will also link the sites providing company-wide access to internal information.
The installation is due to be completed by next month.
