US IP telephony services specialist, Net2Phone is the current leader in IP telephony across the States according to research house, IDC.
The analyst company set Net2Phone's market share at 40 per cent in terms of minutes of use; the next best figure was held by AT&T, with just 16 per cent of total minutes of use in the country.
According to the report, global IP telephony revenue is expected to reach $480m by the end of 1999 and top $19bn by 2004.
