Bentley College in New England (US) has selected Cabletron as its networking solutions supplier and agreed a joint initiative to offer technical training to students.

Providing campus-wide wired and wireless communications, the infrastructure features ATM switches for the backbone plus 100Mbps access speeds for students from the halls of residence.

Students will also be able to use their laptops anywhere on the campus via numerous access points.

Mike Skubisz, Cabletron's executive VP of software, will get a seat on the US College's technology advisory board.
