Alcatel launches internetworking system

Alcatel has introduced a family of internetworking products that can provide voice and data communications to a company's branch office.

The OmniCore 5000, Omni Switch/Router and OmniStack switch can be used by telecoms managers wanting to get high-speed LAN and WAN connection to the head office backbone while also integrating voice-over IP facilities, claims Alcatel.
